Support Consultant

Our company is currently looking for a Support Consultant to join our team.  We are a team of engineers working on a variety of projects, with clients from South Africa, UK and Australia, based in Agile teams generally off-site from our clients.  We work in a range of industries, including:

  • Retail Marketing 
  • Packaging and Print
  • Construction Management 
  • Financial Tech
  • Banking

Job Description

Application Support:

  • Logging and resolving user issues on the client’s bespoke application, assisting users in a professional and courteous manner;
  • Primarily resolving email queries and assisting directly on online (cloud-based) application, but could involve assisting telephonically on occasion;
  • Liaising with UK support team and client at times;
  • Liaising with developers escalating to second-line support;
  • Managing the user base, capturing new accounts and circulating information;
  • Assisting in preparing training guides and other material;
  • Preparing monthly support reports;
  • Assisting the UK support team and developers on any system-related efforts.


  • Grade 12

The successful candidate will be a personable, self-motivated individual and be able to demonstrate good problem-solving skills.  

Position: Permanent

Available: October 2021

Location: Parow, Cape Town

Salary: R 7 000 – R 16 000 (neg.)
