This policy applicable to all individuals associated with Haefele Software, encompassing employees, suppliers, and contractors.

 

1. Responsibilities
Senior Management: The senior management team is responsible for implementing this policy, ensuring its effectiveness, and allocating necessary resources to combat modern slavery within the organization and supply chains.

Employees: All employees are required to comply with this policy and report any concerns or suspicions of modern slavery or human trafficking promptly through designated channels.

Suppliers and Contractors: We expect our suppliers, contractors, and business partners to comply with our standards and adhere to the same principles regarding modern slavery. We will work with them to assess their compliance and address any identified risks.

 

2. Implementation

  • This policy will be communicated to all employees, suppliers, and contractors as well as published on the official company website.
  • Regular training and awareness programs will be conducted to ensure understanding and compliance with this policy.
  • Due diligence processes will be carried out to assess and mitigate risks related to modern slavery.
  • Continuous monitoring and review mechanisms will be implemented to ensure the effectiveness of this policy.

3. Reporting and Investigation
Any concerns, suspicions, or incidents of modern slavery or human trafficking should be reported immediately to Monique Geldenhuys, Director of People. All reports will be taken seriously, investigated promptly, and appropriate action will be taken.

 

4. Modern Slavery Statement
Haefele Software Ltd will publish an annual Modern Slavery Statement in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act of 2015. This statement will outline the steps taken to ensure slavery and human trafficking are not taking place within our business or supply chains.

 

5. Review
This policy will be reviewed annually to ensure its effectiveness, relevance, and compliance with any changes in legislation or best practices.
